I was born and raised in Dwight, IL and music has always been a part of my life. While growing up with a father who played music as his passion since I was 9yrs old, I have always had a guitar in my hands. I played in bands as a teenager with Roger & Greg. I wanted to make music my full-time job. I joined the Chicago based band “The All Night Newsboys” and from that day on I was playing a minimum of 150 to 250 dates a year. We traveled all over the US playing colleges, fairs, & night clubs from 1987-1997. We played with and opened for everyone from Randy Travis to 38 Special. I can’t begin to tell what a thrill ride that was. “The Newsboys”, as we were called, made two CD’s “Oblivious to the Unknown” in 1991, & “Playtime” in 1993. Between 1991- 1994 we were the voice of the Coors Brewing Co. national radio campaign, “It’s the Right Beer Now”. During this time I was also in sponsorship with Electro-Voice Microphones, Washburn Guitars, SIT Strings, & The Coors Brewing Company. Thanks Mark D.! After the Newsboys I played in various cover bands until 1998 I moved to Nashville to see what I could stir up there. I was hired on for acoustic & back-up vocals for country music star “Sammy Kershaw”. After the smoke cleared I found myself back in Illinois searching yet again. I had stayed in contact with Roger & Greg and we all fell back into place & I became a Client. “Funny how things come full circle”. I am looking forward to the next chapter because I am not done yet... Take Care & See you soon! Thanks Terry |
